How long does it take until my ceramic works are finished? 

As a rule, we need about 2-3 weeks to fire pottery for the first time (bisque firing). 
As a rule, we need 1-2 weeks until your painted works have been fired (glaze firing).

How long will my pottery be stored? 

As soon as your works have been fired, we will let you know via WhatsApp or email. You then have 2 weeks to collect your work during our opening hours. We will store painted ceramics free of charge for a maximum of 2 weeks after the collection date. After that, we charge storage costs of €3 per week of ceramics.
Your claim to the goods expires 2 months after your collection date. Ceramics that have not been collected after this period will be further processed by us.

How does cancellation and refund work?

If you cancel 7 days before the start of the appointment, we will charge 50% of the fee you sent us in advance. We will transfer the difference back to you as soon as possible. If you cancel / rebook 24 hours before the start of the appointment, we will retain the entire fee. 

Is it possible to continue working on my ceramic after the 2 hours 
continue working on my ceramic?

Yes, we charge €15 per hour or part thereof.

What happens if paint drips onto my clothes?

Paint can be removed directly with cold water. Any paint residue will be washed out in the washing machine at the latest.

Are the paints food-safe?

It is important to us to use only food-safe paints and glazes. 

Is a perfect result guaranteed when painting ceramics?

When painting ceramics, the final result after firing may differ from how the piece looked before. Colors can change, slightly shift, or appear more intense or lighter after the kiln process. This unpredictability is part of the charm of handmade ceramics and makes each piece one of a kind. Please note that we cannot guarantee a perfect or exactly predictable outcome.

Is my painted ceramic dishwasher-safe?

Yes, but we recommend washing the ceramic by hand as this is gentler. The ceramic is neither oven nor microwave safe.

What if my ceramic piece gets damaged?

Ceramics are a natural product, and both the firing and glazing processes carry an inherent risk. Despite careful handling, stress cracks can occur during firing or glazes may react unexpectedly – in rare cases, this can lead to a piece being damaged or unusable. Please understand that we cannot guarantee the outcome, and there is no entitlement to receive your finished piece.
