After a short introduction to the team, you will receive an introduction to the basics of the potter's wheel, the tools, and the course schedule.

You will learn how to center the clay on the wheel - a crucial step for stable shapes. We will show you the correct hand positions and pressure exercises and introduce you to our specially developed centering tool.

Afterwards, with guidance, you will shape your first creations, such as bowls or cups. You will learn how to pull and shape cylinders.

The surfaces are smoothed with tools and sponges, decorative details are added and the finished works are carefully removed from the throwing wheel. We also show you how to create your own designs. 

Finally, personalize your work with your name. Then you clean your potter's wheel. We will then explain how the pieces are dried, fired and glazed if necessary. 

Now your work is fired. After about 2-3 weeks, your ceramic piece will be ready for collection or ready to be painted by you. We will inform you by email or WhatsApp as soon as it is ready. Your new favorite pieces are dishwasher-safe, but not microwave-safe.
